YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

Confirmation Class - 2022-23
Confirmation classes will continue on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at St. Peter’s UCC.
Sunday morning classes will resume on Sunday, September 18 at 9 am.
Please make sure to bring all of your books and a Bible with you Wednesday night.

SUPER SUNDAYS at ST. JOHN’S UCC, BEM

Sunday Morning Schedule beginning today

9 am – Sunday School for kids pre-Kindergarten-12th grade Everyone begins in the Sanctuary. Curriculum focus is “Heroes and Heroines of the Old Testament”. The Christian Education Committee has lessons for you to use, or you may use one of your own.
Fellowship time for adults. Coffee will be available. Location will either be the Sofa Room or downstairs.

10 am – Worship

1st Sundays of the month (beginning October 2) More information coming soon.
VBS-like activities for children
Kick-off for Youth Groups
Activities for adults. Looking for other adults to teach other adults. Topics already suggested, but we are open to so many more ideas – quilting, cooking/baking, basketry, wood working, games and gaming.
This will take place later in the afternoon. Times to be determined

3rd Sundays of the month (beginning October 16) More information coming soon
Family outings or events at church open to everyone.
Ideas include holiday parties, visits to parks, swimming party, fishing derby
This will usually take place right after church

We are excited about our revitalized programs. Everyone is welcome to all events — so bring a friend!

Christian Education/Sunday School
We are blessed with so many children at Bem Church. We are in need of volunteers to help with a variety of activities on Sundays (see next page). The sign up sheets are in the Narthex.
For all of these ideas to work, the entire congregation needs to engage in the programming of the church. We need the following volunteers:
· Readers for Worship
· Greeters
· Technology
· Fellowship Time hosts
· Sunday School teachers (3)
-Grades PK-2
-Grades 3-6
-High School
-Confirmation will be taught by Pastor Jeff
· Sunday School assistants (1-2)
Extra set of eyes, ears and hands to assist with classes
· Children’s Church leader
· Children’s Church assistant

To volunteer, sign up on the chart in the Narthex, or see Pastor Jeff or any member of the Christian Education Committee. In order for our program to continue to grow, we need a lot of volunteers.
The more people who help, the lighter the work will be.
